On Friday,Treyarch’s Design Director David Vonderhaar posted a new Stash UI to his Twitter feed saying “don’t tell anyone I tweeted about this ‘they’ get mad.” The new Stash UI is in development, being tested, and they are bug fixing says Vonderhaar – It would seem they are currently working out the best setup for the Stash – either two rows of 5 or three rows of 5. “Three rows means less tabbing in a death stash, but less uses more screen.”

We aren’t sure about you all, but it is quite a pain to tab through stash of those you have just dropped while also trying to watch your back – so you aren’t dropped next. Vonderhaar says that the new design will anchor at the bottom of the screen the same way Quick Equip is currently set up. With this change Vonderhaar says “you can still look around and understand how to look at blocked areas of your screen as a result. Even when it’s 3 rows.”

If you don’t know what the Blackout Gamemode is for Call of Duty 4, it is the Call of Duty equivalant to the Battle Royale craze that hit the gaming market at full blast last year. Treyarch takes that typical Battle Royale gameplay and adds their own Call of Duty twist – making it a pretty decent addition to Call of Duty 4. If you haven’t already played, give it a shot.
