The Dragon King – ORB Interview

ORB Interviews

Each week Orbis Weekly will produce a number of interviews that we send out to people all over the world. The idea behind the ORB Interview is to shed a little light on people, especially ones we think the world of Orbis should know more about. The questions will range from basic, random, and relevant.

The Dragon King

The Dragon King (TDK) is someone I do not know really well – always seems to be active and around and willing to throw his hat into helping out with businesses and stuff and will send you a message every 5 minutes just to get your attention. Here we go!

“Shout-out to Roz Wei  for being the first nation to nuke me.” -TDK

The Interview

ORB Weekly: Can you start by telling ORB a little bit about yourself?

TDK: I’ve been around a while, so I’ve gotten to do some things. Here on Disord, I hold jobs in a few banks, I run a few places of my own, and in a few other places, most notably Orbis Business Center. You could say that I’m everywhere when it comes to Orbis businesses. I’m just the kind of guy who likes to do and explore new and old things alike. My alliance really got me rolling in this game. They are great. I’ll talk about them in a few questions.

ORB Weekly: Is PW the first simulation game you’ve played?

TDK: Actually, Conflict of Nations was the first nation simulator game that I played. I’ts a really realistic and fun game that uses different times of history and you can play numerous games at once. Although my memory is really rusty, I think I found Politics & War next by simply googling politics and war, expecting something different. Either that or was an ad somwhere, but now, courtesy of my alliance, I also play Nation States and Cybernations.

ORB Weekly: What alliance are you currently in and what is your role? Are you happy with your alliance?

TDK: I am a member of the New Pacific Order, the current number one alliance in the game. I’m basically an average Joe, holding no special roles, but I am fine with it, as I do not seek to go beyond that, at least not yet. I am very happy with being in NPO – although I may not earn anything, there are other ways to and I’m provided with everything that I need. Communism is not the problem itself, its when it’s in bad hands. Right now it is in good hands with NPO.

ORB Weekly: Was your alliance involved in the war? If so, which side were you on and would you say you’re winning or losing?

TDK: Everyone knows that we are kicking TKR’s booty and I’m most definitely on the winning side.

ORB: What do you think of the current war? Are you a fan of the length – do you prefer peace terms?

TDK: Now, having wars can be fun for a couple of months, but now TKR is just being a huge thorn in all the sides by dragging on the war for too long. It is really hurting the Orbis economy I think. Just give up your pride already! Yes, I am well aware that there are more alliances involved, but they are the main stinking problem from what I know.

ORB: Do you think this war will really force a change in politics post-war? Name one thing you are positive will happen.

TDK: I definitely think so. This war once again cements NPO’s reputation as one of the top alliances in PW. I think that there may be massive shifts that will show a clear divide between NPO and TKR spheres of influence.

ORB: What is one of the most memorable moments you’ve experienced within the PW world?

TDK: I would have to say being involved in my first global/alliance war. Shout out to Roz Wei for being the first nation to nuke me and to Renegade State for being the first nation to missile me.

ORB:  What is one of the most cringiest things you’ve experienced while playing PW?

TDK: The most cringey thing? Well I’d have to say Minesome being a jerk to me. He was criticizing my flag work and that’s fine and all, but he kept badgering me about it way too much. This happened 12/27/2018.

ORB: Did you enjoy your Christmas? What did you do?

TDK: I had a red/pink pancake breakfast, got some headphones, and got $30 cash. Nothing that special really.

ORB: What will your NYE Resolution be?

TDK: To open up an International Bank with my friends.

ORB Weekly: Got a pet? Want to share a pic?

TDK:

Thanks for Reading!

Well that was eventful! I like the specific date for when Minesome was a dick & I’m also curious about the pink/red pancakes.

Hannah – ORB Interview

ORB Interviews

Each week Orbis Weekly will produce a number of interviews that we send out to people all over the world. The idea behind the ORB Interview is to shed a little light on people, especially ones we think the world of Orbis should know more about. The questions will range from basic, random, and relevant.

Hannah

Hannah is a true female of PW! Seems like these days these females are coming out of the wood work – since when are females on the internet? Hannah has always been a force and it has been an amazing time getting to know her and working close with her as she took over the FA reigns at Bad Company – truly pushing BC into a good light. Had to make this pink just for Hannah.

“I am the Director of Security and the Co-Director of Public Relations for Bad Company.” -Hannah

The Interview

ORB Weekly: Can you start by telling ORB a little bit about yourself?

Hannah: I am a 4th grade teacher from Texas. In PnW and in life I am a glittery mermaid. I love things that sparkle and, of course, the color pink.

ORB Weekly: Is PW the first simulation game you’ve played?

Hannah: No, it isn’t my first. I began with Nation States and then found my way to CyberNations. I played there from 2006-2010 or so. I then left the game until recently. When I came back, I was led to PnW.

ORB Weekly: What made you join PW?

Hannah: Eatem actually lol. I was in CN Polar and somehow or another ended up signing up for PnW Polaris.

ORB Weekly: What alliance are you currently in and what is your role?

Hannah: I am the Director of Security and Co-Director of Public Relations for Bad Company.

ORB Weekly: How do you balance game time & RL Time? Especially around the holidays.

Hannah: I balance it? Haha! Usually whichever one has the more pressing need. Grades due? RL. War breaks out? PnW.

ORB Weekly: Do you celebrate Christmas? What is one of your favorite traditions?

Hannah: Definitely celebrate Christmas. I have a couple of favorite traditions. I love to lay under the tree and look up at the lights. My other favorite tradition is that we read the Christmas story from the book of Luke before we open gifts.

ORB Weekly: Any plans for New Year’s Eve?

Hannah: Definitely Sleep. Haha!

ORB Weekly: Do you have any thoughts you’d want to share about the war?

Hannah: It did not go as I expected it would that first night, but that’s life. I look for the good in any situation. In this one, our community is stronger and I made new friends.

ORB Weekly: What kind of ‘global’ changes do you expect post-war?

Hannah: I expect to see a lot of treaty shuffling. I don’t really have any specifics and I don’t like to speculate. This may be a ‘well duh’ thing, but that’s what I expect to see.

ORB Weekly: Was your alliance involved in the war? Who did you attack/who attacked you and how do you think it went for your alliance?

Hannah: “It was a dogpile!” We fought all IQ and some of their buddies. We did well in some areas and being Milcom, I found many areas for us to improve for next time.

ORB Weekly: A lot of times in a war, whether you’re involved or not, post-war brings a lot of changes and restructuring. Will your alliance be going through any changes internally or externally?

Hannah: We have restructured somewhat in that FA is now headed by Kilo and I. We still kept our previous departments as well. Otherwise, I don’t see any big changes happening.

ORB Weekly: What is something you love doing in RL?

Hannah: I’m a teacher, what can I say? I love naps and eating meals that last longer than 27 minutes. Oh I do love girly things like getting my hair and nails done. And shopping. I like to shop.

ORB Weekly: Got a pet? Want to share a pic?

Hannah:

Keza Purple – ORB Interview

ORB Interviews

Keza Purple

The Interview

ORB Weekly: Can you start by telling ORB a little bit about yourself?

Keza: I’m named after a character that I am writing a book about, responsible college student, and last name is named after another player who plays this game, you can figure it out. Been playing this for more than 3 years now, well technically 4.

ORB Weekly: Is PW the first simulation game you’ve played?

Keza: No, CN was my first, horrible, terrible – I would say Trump style.

ORB Weekly: What made you join PW?

Keza: Yui made me join.

ORB Weekly: What alliance are you currently in and what is your role?

Keza: Church of Atom, I am the Interior Affairs Guy.

ORB Weekly: How do you balance game time & RL Time? Especially around the holidays.

Keza: Discord as another social media and treat PnW like a homework assignment.

ORB Weekly: Do you celebrate Christmas? What is one of your favorite traditions?

Keza: Not really, I watch basketball and sleep. You know the drill.

ORB Weekly: Any plans for New Year’s Eve?

Keza: Going to DC for like a week again.

ORB Weekly: Do you have any thoughts you’d want to share about the war?

Keza: My opinion is I kinda expected it from the start as TKR was just becoming number 1 for a long time. Couple of first round were fun, but towards the end it got very boring, but lopsided seems to work in the favor, didn’t really expect many targets to begin with.

ORB Weekly: What kind of ‘global’ changes do you expect post-war?

Keza: I expect a war mechanic or a project mechanic to happen. Either a couple of new projects that can extend the gameplay further.

ORB Weekly: Was your alliance involved in the war? Who did you attack/who attacked you and how do you think it went for your alliance?

Keza: Yeah we were. Mainly attacked TKR. I think it went well, it’s the first time participating in a global and my first time in over two years that I was warless.

ORB Weekly: A lot of times in a war, whether you’re involved or not, post-war brings a lot of changes and restructuring. Will your alliance be going through any changes internally or externally?

Keza: I don’t think we will be going to change much cuz we are in a comfortable position. Maybe for me internally, I am possibly going to get my feet more wet in many of the areas that I am good at.

ORB Weekly: What is something you love doing in RL?

Keza: Reading, basketball, baseball, sleeping, eating, drinking, you name it, and oh traveling.

Thanks for Reading!

Keza – I had a great time deciphering your broken English. Hope you don’t mind that I fixed it for some of the readers. Fun Fact: Keza sent his replies back to me in a PDF file. Thanks!
